Getting here by car

Underground parking is available directly below the clinics. Take the Group B lifts to Level 4. Enter via Centre Lane, an internal road off Commercial Road situated between The Alfred Centre and The Burnet Tower — accessible from either direction. When exiting Centre Lane, turn left onto Commercial Road. A dedicated U-turn zone near the main Alfred Hospital entrance is available for drivers heading east.

If the two underground levels are full, an above-ground overflow area is available. Parking fees can be paid at an automated pay station or at the supervised exit booth. Visa and Mastercard are accepted; debit cards are not. If you need cash, an ATM is available in the main foyer of The Alfred Hospital. There are also 16 designated bays for holders of disabled parking permits.

The car park is open every day from 6.00am to 10.30pm. Limited metered and free on-street parking is also available in surrounding streets.

Getting here by public transport

Trams 216, 219 and 220 stop at the corner of Commercial and Punt Roads. Tram 72 also stops at Commercial and Punt Roads.
