The Baker Institute is home to one of Australia's most dynamic and collaborative research communities. We work with universities and research institutions across Australia and around the world — because the problems we're solving require the very best minds, working together.
Our academic partnerships
We hold formal academic partnerships with the universities of Cambridge, Oxford, Melbourne, Monash, La Trobe and Deakin. These relationships support joint research programs, shared infrastructure, collaborative grant applications and a pipeline of exceptional research talent.
Beyond our formal affiliations, we actively seek new collaborations with national and international institutions whose work aligns with our focus on cardiovascular disease, diabetes and obesity.
What collaboration looks like
Academic partnerships with the Baker Institute can take many forms — joint research programs and clinical trials, co-investment in grant applications, shared access to biobanks and data repositories, joint professorial and research positions, and collaborative symposia and knowledge exchange.
