Anita Furnell is Chief Financial Officer of the Institute and a Chartered Accountant who has more than 30 years’ experience of finance and strategy as a senior executive in corporate and not for profit leadership teams.
She is a past member of the Chartered Accountants ANZ Charities and Not-for-Profit Committee and subsequently was involved in discussions with the Australian Accounting Standards Board in relation to the introduction of the revenue recognition accounting standards for Not-for-Profit Entities. Anita is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Anita is an alternate director for AMREP AS Pty Ltd and serves on the Institute’s Audit & Risk Management Committee and Investment Committee.
