Dr Morrison is a postdoctoral researcher and exercise physiologist with the University of Melbourne and Diabetes Technology Research Group. His current research focuses on the use of diabetes technology to improve the lives of people with type 1 diabetes, specifically regarding improved glucose management with exercise and the physiology of glucose metabolism in type 1 diabetes.

Further research interests include whole-body regulation of glucose metabolism and glucose flux, muscle metabolism, exercise physiology, hybrid closed-loop insulin delivery, metabolite sensing and diabetes management.
