Molecular Proteomics
Haoyun Alexandra Fang completed her Bachelor of Biomedicine and Master of Biomedical Science at the University of Melbourne. She has joined Molecular Proteomics laboratory since 2019 developing and applying quantitative proteomics to understand complex cell systems, including heart remodelling, therapeutic regulation, and cellular signalling.
In 2022, she started her PhD project applying spatial subcellular proteomics to understand pathological cardiac remodeling. This project aims to decipher subcellular proteome and changes associated with pathological cardiac cell and tissue remodeling using mass spectrometry-based proteomics and machine learning approaches. The developed systematic analysis will aim to reveal subcellular rearrangements and organellar proteome changes of heart in a hypertensive heart disease model.
