I am a clinical academic cardiology trainee. During my PhD, I focused on characterising diabetic cardiomyopathy using cardiovascular magnetic resonance (CMR) and transcriptomics. In my current postdoctoral role, I am building on this work by integrating transcriptomics and metabolomics with CMR and phosphorus spectroscopy to phenotype a range of cardiac pathologies.

My research aims to improve our understanding of the biological mechanisms underlying heart disease, with a particular focus on sex differences in disease presentation.
