Rumbidzai is a postdoctoral researcher specialising in a broad range of biomaterials for applications in tissue engineering, including cardiovascular repair, urogynaecology, nerve regeneration, and wound healing. Her PhD research focused on the development of vascular grafts, with particular emphasis on biomechanical compliance and surface interactions with native vasculature. Her current work explores the use of platelet-rich plasma to enhance tissue regeneration.
