Sadegh holds a bachelor's degree in biological science. He started his master's in Medical Biotechnology and ranked among the top 1 per cent of applicants in the national medical universities' entrance exam for a master's degree, at the Iran university of medical science. As a research assistant, Sadegh has participated in various biomedical research studies conducted by the student research committee of the Iran university of medical science. Primarily he has a background in cancer cell signaling pathways, combinational therapy and drug-repurposing approaches. In addition, he has a background in developing novel drug delivery platforms.

His PhD project investigates the subcellular organisation of the heart using spatial and organelle-resolved proteomics. He has contributed to the development of a nuclear-enrichment workflow for fresh mouse heart regions that enables quantification of more than 4000 proteins per region, including over 2900 nuclear-enriched proteins and extensive transcription-factor and co-factor networks. Applying this strategy across atrial and ventricular regions has revealed spatially dominant nuclear programs linked to oxidative metabolism, ferroptosis, extracellular-matrix remodelling and transcriptional regulation. This work establishes a region-resolved reference of cardiac nuclear organisation, connects nuclear architecture with atrial and ventricular biology, and provides a foundation for studying disease-associated nuclear remodelling and identifying regulatory candidates relevant to cardiac tissue engineering and regenerative medicine.
