I am a cardiology imaging fellow and PhD candidate focused on improving the early detection and prevention of cardiovascular disease. My research examines how advanced cardiac imaging can identify coronary artery disease before symptoms develop and guide more personalised preventive care, particularly for people with subclinical disease who may otherwise be considered low risk.

I hold an MBBS and am a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP). My research interests include preventive cardiology, coronary CT angiography and quantitative coronary plaque analysis, with a particular focus on 

I have been involved with the CAUGHT-CAD trial which studied changes in coronary plaque volume, composition, calcified plaque density and progression over time. This work aims to better understand how preventive therapies influence subclinical atherosclerosis and how CT imaging can improve cardiovascular risk assessment and treatment decisions.

I collaborate with colleagues across the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Monash University, Monash Health, the Victorian Heart Hospital and the Victorian Heart Institute. Ultimately, I hope this research will support earlier intervention and more individualised prevention of cardiovascular disease.
