Cardiometabolic Imaging
Sjoerd is Project Manager of the Cardiometabolic Imaging laboratory, involved in many facets of the day-to-day running of the laboratory. With a background in the Humanities, he studied in Amsterdam, Berkeley and Oxford, and received his PhD from the University of London. He previously taught at the Universities of Exeter and Sussex, and Bilkent University (Ankara), and carried out research as a postdoc at Exeter and Bristol. He has extensive experience as an academic editor and in multidisciplinary academic project management, including outreach activities with vulnerable populations.
