Thy completed a Master of Biomedical Science at The University of Melbourne, with a research background in plasma lipidomics and inflammation.
Her work in this field provided a strong foundation for transitioning into working in the Metabolomics lab as a research assistant. She now specialises in mass spectrometry, population studies, and the development of metabolomic methods. She is particularly interested in exploring how lipidomics can be applied to large-scale studies and developing analytical techniques to further expand the number metabolites that can be measured in a single sample.
