Dr Leah Wright

BSc (Applied Science), University of Queensland | DMU Cardiac, University of Melbourne

Leah Wright completed her undergraduate degree in Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement studies), before working as a research assistant with the University of Queensland’s Cardiovascular Imaging Research Group. During this time, see completed her postgraduate diploma in cardiac ultrasound, before moving to the Menzies Research Institute (University of Tasmania) under the Cardiometabolic Health disease theme, with a joint appointment with the Royal Hobart Hospital’s Department of Cardiology.

She graduated from her PhD in 2018 at University of Tasmania with particular focus into the use of echocardiography in the clinical follow up of pulmonary arterial hypertension and works as a senior echocardiographer for the Baker Institute.
