The Institute’s Board carries responsibility for the corporate governance and financial sustainability of the organisation. Our Board members, however, go above and beyond their governance duties by participating in fundraisers such as road cycling events; providing significant donations to Institute initiatives such as the Director’s Fund Endowment; and supporting philanthropic activities through the donation of goods. Board members have also played a pivotal role in advocating for the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF), with Peter Scott serving as Chair of the MRFF Action Group. The Institute is grateful to the Directors for their contributions, both in relation to the Baker Institute and the medical research sector more broadly.
