Strategic Plan 2025–2030

This plan comes at an exciting time for us. For nearly a century, the Baker Institute has led the change in innovation, changing lives along the way. In 2026, we will recognise 100 years of pioneering research and lifesaving impact. This plan will position us to harness our people, our expertise and our partnerships to transform the health landscape over the next five years, as we embark on our next 100 years.

This plan was developed following consultation with our staff, advocacy organisations, medical research and health organisations, industry and philanthropic partners, government, our patients and people with lived experience. We’re grateful for this feedback, which was invaluable in helping us to shape this plan.

The result is a blueprint — Scientific Excellence, Lifesaving Impact... — that aims to champion global collaboration, embrace cutting-edge technology and elevate community engagement to create a healtheir future for us all.

Snapshot and priority areas

Below is a snapshot of our strategy and our five priorities. We’ve mapped out actions against these priorities for the next five years, allowing us to measure our progress and report back against them.
