How this role makes a difference

The Donor Administration Officer plays a vital role in delivering exceptional donor care and seamless administration. Your attention to detail and love for people will help drive life-changing research forward and help create unforgettable donor experiences.

Through this key role, you can contribute to our vision to help people to live healthier for longer, and to stop heart disease and diabetes in their tracks.

Be the friendly voice and helpful hand for our supporters — responding to queries within 24 hours and ensuring every interaction feels personal and professional.
  • Own the donation process
Process 100–200 donations daily with speed and accuracy, issue receipts promptly, and keep donor records flawless.

  • Keep the numbers in check
Handle banking, reconciliation, and reporting with precision.
  • Make it happen
Support events, manage contracts, and keep everything running like clockwork behind the scenes..

What will you bring?

You will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in administration or fundraising — or equivalent experience.
  • Previous experience in administration, ideally in a fundraising setting - familiarity with the not-for-profit sector would be a great bonus.
  • Great communication skills with a strong customer and donor focus, and a natural ability to build positive relationships with people from all walks of life.
  • Highly organised, calm under pressure and detail-oriented. Professional, adaptable, and collaborative.
  • Experience in office management, customer service, and working with databases.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel); Salesforce experience highly valued.
  • A proven ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy.
  • Confidence working both independently and collaboratively in a team.
  • A proactive approach to improving systems and ensuring quality.
