About the Diabetes Technologies laboratory

The Diabetes Technologies laboratory is the newest addition to the Diabetes Technology Research Group (D.T.R.G) , a team that's been pursuing patient-centred research for more than 20 years under the leadership of Professor David O'Neal.

The D.T.R.G brings together more than 25 dedicated members across research and clinical disciplines, including endocrinologists, project managers, exercise physiologists, scientists, nurses, research coordinators, administrators, and credentialed diabetes educators. Together, we're working to improve life with type 1 diabetes through innovative technology research.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to be the centre of excellence in adult type 1 diabetes technology research in Australia and the leading partner for collaborators, participants, industry and key stakeholders.
