Ms Rebecca Stiegler
BSc(Nutrition) | MSc(Nutrition and Dietetics)
Rebecca is an Accredited Practising Dietitian with more than 10 years’ experience in diabetes. She currently sees clients for diabetes management (including type 2 diabetes, type 1 diabetes and gestational diabetes), for weight management or cardiovascular disease management. She also oversees the WAG (Women After Gestational diabetes) program and is involved in health professional training programs and student placements.
Rebecca completed a Bachelor of Science (Nutrition) and a Master of Science (Nutrition and Dietetics). She has extensive experience in diabetes management and has a keen interest working with patients with type 1 diabetes. She also has a keen interest in weight management including surgical and non-surgical approaches. Rebecca was also co-author for the Baker Institute Healthy Cholesterol Diet and Lifestyle Plan, and Wellness Plan books. She has published on lifestyle modification for the prevention of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, as well as having presented to health professionals at many national diabetes conferences.
