Jacqueline Van Savage

Jacqueline Van Savage is a Research Assistant in the Diabetes and Population Health laboratory at the Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute. She is currently working on the PREDICTION study, which aims to better understand the complications associated with young adult — onset type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Through this work, Jacqueline values the opportunity to connect directly with study participants and contribute to research that highlights the experiences of people living with diabetes.

She completed her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience at Tulane University in 2023 and previously worked as a Research Assistant in the Department of Physiology at LSU Health Sciences Center New Orleans. Jacqueline is now pursuing a Master of Applied Positive Psychology at the University of Melbourne, where she explores the science of wellbeing and how positive psychology principles can strengthen individuals, communities, and healthcare systems through evidence-based approaches.
